What can a dancer expect from the week long programs?

The dancer can expect to be in the studio from 9am – 4:30pm daily training with regionally and nationally renowned educators in various genres.

Where are the classes held?

The Lamar University campus in Beaumont, TX. Specifically, the Dance Annex – home of the Department of Theatre & Dance studios. The studio can be found just off East Lavaca St facing LIT.

When is arrival and departure for training programs?

Dancers participating in the Full Residency Experience will arrive between 5pm and 7pm the Sunday prior and need to be checked out by 10am the following Sunday.

What experience levels are welcomed?

The Young Dancers Workshop is open to all levels ages 9 – 13. The Pre/Professional Intensive is open to intermediate/advanced dancers 14+. The Community Classes are open to all levels 14+.

What does all levels mean?

We welcome beginner to advanced levels in the program. No previous training is required.

Is there a dress code for classes?

No, there is not a specific dress code. We ask all dancers to come in their favorite dance or active wear that allows for maximum movement. Appropriate shoes, when necessary, are advised.
